ANTI RUBBLE NET FOR AGBAR MUSEUM

One of the multiple functions of safety nets is to prevent the falling of rubble or blunt objects in areas of passage or meeting people.

In the case of the Barcelona Water Museum we had to line the dome of one of the modernist buildings owned by AGBAR and located in Cornellà. In this building is located the auditorium where there are multiple cultural activities and where there was the risk of small peeling of rubble. The challenge was added that the net had to be practically invisible in order to have the least possible visual impact.

Finally we placed a net of a very small mesh and a color very similar to the modernist dome of the museum. Safety and aesthetics do not have to be incompatible and we get a good result.

The net is almost imperceptible to people and can contemplate the magnificent dome without noticing that there is a net of protection installed.
